ReplyDeleteThese artifacts are stunning. I know relatively nothing about Hittites other than they fought the Egyptian pharaohs but certainly their civilization was just that - civilized. I think my favorite is the double vase w/open mouths and hands. So clever! I'm also wondering if some of the 'deer' might be big horn sheep or antelope? And the documented treaty blew me away!
